A chargeback is when a credit or debit card purchase is refunded. It can happen because of these few reasons:
- The card was stolen and wrongfully used
- It was charged more than one for the same purchase
- The amount charge was billed wrongly
If a charge back occurs, it will likely result in an publisher’s conversion deduction as it may be viewed as either incomplete or fraud.
