Content and Blog
Shoplinks is the most suitable tool to monetize and leverage your content. Shoplinks is an easy-to-use script which you will need to install on your website. Shoplinks is able to convert keywords available into hyperlinks related to InvolveAsia’s advertisers. Below are guides on how to install and use Shoplinks.
Installing Shoplinks on Wordpress
There are multiple ways to install Shoplinks on Wordpress, the easiest way to do so is to do it using a plugin. For this, we recommend WPBeginner's Insert Headers and Footers plugin.
Installing Shoplinks using a plugin
Step 1: First things first, please obtain the Shoplinks code snippet from your InvolveAsia publisher account. You can find them under Tools > Shoplinks. If you do not have an account, please sign up here.
Step 2: Install WPBeginner's Insert Headers and Footers plugin. You can either download and install it from our link or search for it in the Wordpress plugin installation tool. Don't forget to activate the plugin after installing!
Step 3: Once the plugin is installed, head to the Settings > Insert Header and Footers in your Wordpress backend.
Step 4: Insert the code you have copied back in Step 1 into the box that says "Scripts in Footer", then save your settings. If you have any caching plugins installed, please make sure to clear your cache before testing if the code works.
Step 5: Once you are done, you can check if the code is installed via the verify installation tool on the Shoplinks page. You can find the tool where you obtain your Shoplinks code in Step 1. Alternatively, you can also test by placing a merchant's link or keyword and see if the link converts to an affiliate link.
If you are using Cloudflare on your website, please note that the verification tool might not work, and you will have to test them manually as per our instruction in Step 5. If you are using Cloudflare's Rocket Loader tool, there is an additional step required before Shoplinks can work.
