Making Shoplinks Work With Cloudflare

Shoplinks is a simple tool that converts all relevant links and keywords into Involve Asia affiliate links automatically, so you can monetize your content without having to generate them manually.

Cloudflare provides a content delivery network, DDoS mitigation, Internet security services and distributed domain name server services, sitting between the visitor and the Cloudflare user's hosting provider, acting as a reverse proxy for websites.

While our tool works well with Cloudflare, some additional steps might be necessary before they can work hand in hand.

Verifying Installation

Due to the nature of how Cloudflare operates, our system will not be able to detect the Shoplinks script even when it is installed properly.

You can rest assured that Shoplinks should be working properly if you followed our instructions, but you can still test if the script is working by inserting advertiser links/keyword into your content, and check if the links/keyword convert.

If Cloudflare's Rocket Loader is enabled

Cloudflare's Rocket Loader is a tool that automatically combines all scripts on your site (including Facebook, Google and Involve Asia).

Unfortunately, Rocket Loader is not compatible with Shoplinks out of the box; however, all you need to do is to add an additional parameter to the Shoplinks script and it will be fine.

Simply add data-cfasync="true" into the <script> tag, before the src attribute to exclude Shoplinks from Rocket Loader optimization to make Shoplinks work. Example:

Modified script: <script type="text/javascript" data-cfasync="true" src="//app.involve.asia/magic/6500/auto.js"></script>
